DTF Printing Pressing Instructions
For Best Results with Cheetah Printz & Apparel Transfers
Follow these step-by-step instructions to ensure vibrant, long-lasting prints using your DTF (Direct-to-Film) transfers from Cheetah Printz & Apparel.
🧵 What You’ll Need
✅ Heat press machine (no irons)
✅ Teflon or parchment sheet (optional)
✅ Flat surface with no seams or wrinkles
✅ Clean, lint-free garment
🕘 Recommended Press Settings

| Temperature | 290°F – 320°F (140°C – 160°C) |
| Pressure | Medium to Firm |
| Time | 15 – 20 seconds |
| Peel Type | Cold Peel ❄️ |
🔧 Adjust pressure depending on garment thickness. Too light = poor adhesion.
✋ Step-by-Step Instructions
1️⃣ Pre-Press Your Garment

Press the blank garment for 5–7 seconds to remove moisture and wrinkles.

This ensures better adhesion.
2️⃣ Place the DTF Transfer

Position the transfer film face up (design side up, ink side down).

Make sure it’s straight and centered.
3️⃣ Press the Transfer

Cover with Teflon sheet (optional, but helps protect your heat press).

Press at 310°F for 15 seconds with medium to firm pressure.
4️⃣ Let It Cool (Cold Peel)

Remove garment from heat press.

Wait 15–30 seconds until the film feels cool.

Gently peel the film in one smooth motion.
5️⃣ Final Press (Optional But Recommended)

Cover the design with parchment or Teflon sheet.

Press again for 5–10 seconds to seal the ink.

This increases wash durability and softens the feel.
🧼 Wash & Care Tips
✅ Wait 24 hours before first wash
✅ Wash inside out with cold water
✅ Tumble dry low or hang dry
✅ Do not bleach or iron over the design
With proper care, your DTF prints will last 50+ washes without fading or cracking!
